ABOUT THE CONFERENCE:

The main aim of the Conference is to provide participants with an opportunity to present their work and to exchange ideas and results, and to meet people with similar tribological interests. The Official Language of the Conference is English.

GUEST SPEAKERS:

Our plenary guest speakers are Professor Bharat Bhushan, Director, Nanoprobe Laboratory for Bio- & Nanotechnology and Biomimetics, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Ohio State University, and Professor Kristian Tonder, of the Faculty of Engineering Science and Technology at NTNU, Trondheim, Norway.

Submission of abstract 31 August 2010
Notification of acceptance of abstract 30 September 2010
Second Announcement & Registration 31 Oct 2010
Submission of final paper 31 December 2010
Final Programme & Reg 30 January 2011

COPYRIGHT:

The SAIT holds the copyright for the publication of accepted papers until after the conference proceedings have been published.

SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS:

An abstract of maximum 500 words should be submitted to the Conference Secretary no later than the above deadlines. Abstract submissions may be made online or via email. Abstracts will be published in the Conference Proceedings. Full length papers will be provided on CD. No paper will be published unless presented by one of the authors. Acceptance of abstracts & final papers will be based on a peer-reviewing process.

EXHIBITION AND SPONSORSHIP:

Exhibition space will be available at the Conference venue. Sponsorship of various Conference events is invited. Details are available from the Conference Organising Committee.
